Hefeweizens, Pilsners, Imperial stouts
Favorite Craft breweries:
New Belgium
Who am I?:
I'm the lucky girl who The Beer Philosopher married. I love good beer too. My palate continues to change as my husband introduces me to new and different beers. I have to confess that I still enjoy Corona. Corona was first beer learned to enjoy and it's taste (all be it often skunkie) reminds me of good memories.

Interestingly enough, I met Tom Schlafly at SAVOR and asked him whether he was related. Sure enough, she is his aunt. He is a real character. I am with you, they make some really good beer. I had the bourbon barrel Imperial Stout, and the bourbon barrel Barleywine. Both were great, but I was particularly drawn to the stout as was my wife. Wish we could get it out here in Maryland.

Hey, Much better thanks. We are on a path to possibly getting back together in the future. She even helped me brew the other day!

OK I see the Schlafly Beer in the pic with your kid. Please do not tell me that Schlafly is in any way related to Phyllis Schlafly, the anti-feminist. I am originally from Illinois and she was from the St Louis area. I see you are from Carbondale, so I assume Carbondale IL, and so may know the answer to my question. I hope is it not some evil spawn from that sad, sad lady. :-)

Hi! Do you think it's true that first beers die hard? Kinda like first loves?

Nope, in fact, we broke up two weeks ago. Arg, it has been brutally difficult, together for 2 1/3 years. The only positive of late is that she successfully named the 4 ingredients in beer the other day.

Hahaha, no CSUF are the Titans (It's very sad you don't know that and I'm not accepting the time excuse either ;-). The Trojans are USC (the real USC... Southern California... not South Carolina).
