The Aleuminati-the not so secret society of better beer drinkers

Vacation Time!

The fam is off on a much needed vacation next week to Indian Shores, FL. I don't know much about the place other than it's somewhere between St. Petersburg and Clearwater ... I'm looking forward to some serious down time.

I must be.

I have not done what I typically do when plotting a vacation spot ... I have not built the vacation around beer. No offense to Florida, but my destination probably gave that away fairly readily. Normally I reserach the area exhaustively and look for every spot I can get a good beer - the restaurants, the brewpubs, the beer stores - not this time though. I honestly can't tell you why ...

I'm sure there are a couple of worthy stops in the area, but I guess I'll just discover them without a beer "cheat sheet" this time around. Having said that, though, if any fellow Aleuminati are familiar with the area and know of any "can't miss" sopt, please lemme know.

I'm taking the laptop, if anyone is wondering, but I am going to endeavor to stay away from it as much as possible this coming week. I'll check email a couple times, but I doubt I'll be posting on The Aleuminati much for the next week or so ... can you guys hold down the fort for me?

Who am I kidding, you do anyway most of the time ... ... ;)

World of Beers (9534 West Linebaugh Ave.) is in Tampa... it supposedly has upwards of 700 different types of bottled beer. It's on my Beer Bucket List (yet to be written up), so any firsthand accounts would ROCK! ;)

Hey, thanks for the comments! I'll definitely enjoy the time ... and I'll check out World of Beer in Tampa if at all possible, Eli!

Everyone have a great weekend and a great week ahead!
