Our New York City Travel Report

We survived our first visit to the Big Apple. And I do mean "survived."

It was a great time. We met a lot of nice people and drank a lot of tasty beers that we don't get out here in California. There was just one problem: the weather.

It dominated the whole trip. We used to dread rain when we were on our beer travels. Now, we know there is a bigger nemesis, humidity.

We arrived in New York City with a list of 32 beer places to visit. We knew we weren't going to reach them all but it was fun trying.

We added just two new breweries to the List and visited many great beer bars, pubs, and cafes. Merideth joined Chris in the 490 club and we are still on target to hit 500 on our October trip to Maine.
