Who am I?:
Beer appreciation has been more than just a hobby of mine; it has become a foundation for travel planning and appreciation of culture. Ever since college I’ve enjoyed sampling the finest beers the world has to offer and traveling to the source of each beer: the brewery. My initial interest began in college where a roommate and I taught an elective “Beer Tasting” course similar to “Wine Tasting”. Every summer my friends and I would travel to new breweries back home in Nor-Cal like: Anchor Steam, Budweiser, Speakeasy, Anderson Valley, Lost Coast, Moylans and about a dozen others over the following five years. After college, I met my fiancé and we planned several trips across the U.S. to Oregon, Washington, and Colorado to hit Coors, Flying Dog, Boulder, Rogue, Red Hook, Hair of the Dog and many more. Then we headed to Europe for Guinness, Murphy’s, Fullers, Youngs, Lowenbrau, Hofbrauhaus, Spaten, Hacker Pschorr and too many others to name. I’ve kept a website of all my travels, kegmaster.com and will continue to explore the world one pint at a time.

People will often be shocked by the times of day when someone cracks a beer or be offended if beer is integ… Continue
