There is a recipe I would like to try, but I would like to make only a half batch. Will it work to simply half the ingredients like you would with a typical food recipe?

Also, the temp was about 77 degrees at the point that I pitched the yeast.

I recorded a 1.090 OG before pitching, but this seemed awful low. I had added cold water to the wort, but I don't think it had mixed well when I took the reading.

I wouldn't put more than one or two beers in. Eight days might be enough, especially if the final ABV was fairly low. It can be awfully hard to be patient though.

Dundee Beer - Assortment Pack

I am always skeptical of inexpensive 12-packs and even more so about "assortment" packs. I was at my local market (Market Street in N. Dallas) and have seen the Dundee pack for some time, but I typically skip it for a trusted IPA or amber ale.
