Where's my beer?

Latest Activity

Did anyone attend the San Diego Beer Week? If not, try and make it down next year. Lots of famous brewmasters holding discussions, tons of special cask ales, and plenty of other fun events.

A group for beer lovers in southern California and those who love beers that come from southern California.

Hey Reuben, the addition of sugar will more than likely speed up the process of fermentation, the yeast loves those simple sugars. Also, don't trust the lack of bubbles in the air lock as a lack of activity, any leaks around the edge of the lid wi...

I'd still go ahead and check your final gravity and look for something close to what your target f.g. is, don't rely on airlock activity. Obviously, you can't know for sure what your actual f.g. should be without having taken a starting gravity bu...

Not in California (yet). There's a lot of great breweries in CA. We'll see what the future holds.
