The only thing that's mysterious is why people would drink cheap, fizzy beer.

No problems. My wife and I have a friend who has Celiacs and we've tried the Bard's Tale, New Grist and the Green's Endeavour & Discovery with her. The Endeavour was our favorite of them all.

I am biased as the CEO of Bard's Beer, but try Bard's. Bard's was founded by two individuals with celiac disease that were in the same boat as you but didn't want an inferior product. Bard's is the only gluten-free beer brand that malts the sorghum…

That really sucks, glad you're feeling better. I've seen quite a few things written on the subject recently, in particular, an article I think I saw on Brookston Bulletin about studies showing the amount of gluten in beer is actually very low. The C…

About Me

So, I like to do a lot of things...currently thinking about football season :) And what goes better with football season than a nice cold beer? Yup, that's what I thought.

I'm from a drinking town with a football problem, and if you're a lover of freshly brewed beer then you've gotta stop by the Church Brew Works for some nicely fresh brewed beer - it's a unique experience :)

As much as I love beer though, I think it's important that people understand the importance of not drinking too much. Really, alcohol withdrawal symptoms can kill you, like they nearly did to someone very close to me. Unfortunately where I live many people die often from drinking too much, so it's always a reminder to me to drink responsibly...there's even a facebook group called "Why is the only thing to do in Pittsburgh is to develop a drinking problem?" It's sad when I think of people I went to school with being dead at 17, 21, and 25 years old because they thought they could drive drunk.

Beyond beer and football there are lots of other things I like to do. Right now I am working on building a giant website about poetry called Poems Box...it's a little bit ugly right now but I know within a few months it will be looking really good - if you like to write poems about beer, let me know, maybe you can write some poems for me, lol.

Anyways, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :)

Beer Poet

Ode to a Draft

Being a beer poet, I thought i would write a poem that is an ode to a draft:

Ode to A Draft:

Oh beer,
in your glorious wonder
as you sit in front of me
in the glistening
frosty glass

You taste so smooth
your color like honey
so freshly brewed
you entice me

taking each sip
one by one
enjoying all your flavors

your hops
are making me sing :)

Do you like my beer poem? Well, if you can do better than I want to hear yours!
