Favorite beer style(s) of the moment:: I fear no beer (well, maybe a few). Do I have to pick one? It depends on my mood, the time of day, the time of year, what I'm eating, what I ate, what I want to eat, what I'm doing.

Who am I?:: I'm a beer geek, beer nerd, beer dork, beer dog, beer lover, beer hunter, beer collector, beer traveler. I've visited over 450 breweries in 16 countries and 39 states and counting. I love travel and the joy of discovering new places. But across the US, look-alike strip malls and viral chain food outlets make everyplace look like any place. Small breweries are one of the few remaining vestiges of local uniqueness. Internationally, breweries reflect the local character, history and flavor. So to experience all the world has to offer, I'm consumed with visiting as many breweries as I can. And while I can spew the most trivial of nerdily recorded personal beer-tistics, none are more important measures of "life lived" than my brewery count.
