"To me the best beer drinking experience in the US has been at the Northampton Brewery, Northampton, MA. It's a tiny brewery--you can actually see them brewing the beer while you sit at the bar. They keep a steady stock of about four of their…"

Ken Howes replied to Shawn, the Beer Philosopher's discussion Christmas Beers, Oh Christmas Beers ...
"For Christmas, I'm drinking Sam Adams' Fezziwig Ale, a brown, slightly spiced, ale. The spices are less pronounced this year than in the past, but it remains distinctive and very good."

Hellooooo, Kenneth of Wittenburg. Welcome. I hoist one in your honor. Xpistoc Bocxpece!

Profile Information

Favorite beer style(s) of the moment:
Bavarian black beer--there's still nothing better than Reichelbräu's Urkulm or the Andechs or Weltenburg monastery beers.
Who am I?:
I'm an organist and seminarian of the one church denomination that is most closely associated with great beer--Lutheran. After all, Katy Luther, the Great Reformer's wife, brewed beer in their cellar, and the famous Table Talks were generally delivered over copious mugs of Katy's brew, which was highly esteemed.
How did you find out about the Aleuminati?
A friend sent me an email about it
Were you referred by anyone? If so, who? (screen name)
