- Favorite beer style(s) of the moment:
- I love all good beer, but I tend to gravitate more towards strong Belgian ales, Barleywines, Imperial Porters, Imperial Stouts, Imperial IPAs, and Extreme beer styles. Gotta love those palate bruisers!
- Who am I?:
- Let's see... I just got married on June 16th of '07 to the girl of my dreams. She's a beer geek, just like me (and all of us). She's so understanding, that she actually let me drop $150 on a bottle of 2007 Sam Adams Utopias! (C'mon now, that's a keeper.)
I keep a copy of Michael Jackson's "Great Beer Guide: 500 Classic Brews" in my livingroom with markers on the pages of each brew I've tried. I'm only up to 63, so I have a ways to go (plus, some have been discontinued and some I just can't get in my area.)
I have the same goal (dream) as most beergeeks; to someday start a brewpub of my own.

Did you get hold of the Rauchbier in the States, or over here in Europe? I was in Bamberg last May, drinking draught Schlenkerla as a house beer, in the Schlenkerla brewery. Just beautiful.
