Brewing Round 1

Howdy folks, So last Week I brewed my first ever batch of beer. Its fermenting nicely now and it is an irish draught ale. The initial brewing took 3 hours, and I recorded the whole thing on video. In a few weeks I'm going to bottle it after fermentation. I am very eager to see how it comes out. Just some general brewing notes. I started the boiling at 4 pm, boiled 2.5 gallons of water then steeped the specialty grains for 20 minutes as the water was coming up to heat, but made sure not to boil…See More

I truly love all beer, right now I am a fan of irish and scottish ales. I am brewing an Irish Draught Ale. I've had over 200 beers, probably over 300, one of these days I will do another count the list keeps getting longer and longer.

I'm an ex forest service park ranger, who just got into homebrewing.

Absolutely! Currently i know of the Sam Noble Pils on tap, Blue Moon, Red Hook ESB and there are a few others.

Personally, i feel they are decently stocked. But you can let me know what you think! any day is good really. Im game for whatever, honestly. Bring whoever wants to go!
