- Favorite beer style(s) of the moment:
- That's a toughy since I like all craft beer. I like experimenting and trying new beers. But if I HAD to pick... wheats and Hefeweizens. I really love them during the summer, not so much during the winter. Cold months are all about stouts and porters. I'm finding myself dipping my toes in the Belgian and IPA (great timing with the hop shortage, right?) arenas more and more. My wife who is a non-beer drinker absolutely loves IPAs. Go figure.
- Who am I?:
- Plant Manger by day, Freelance Writer by passion. Speaking of passions... beer is but one of mine. It's not just an intoxicating beverage, but a world wide phenomena wrapped in mystique and rich in history. I love writing about the beer life (and video games) and coming up with ways to make money living the beer life (and playing video games). Like many: dream = my own pub. Thankfully, my wonderful wife and I live in The Napa Valley of the Beer World. Ah yes... heaven's hoppy gate indeed.

I wish the photo was taken in Texas! I live in a world of multiple shades of brown, so whenever opportunity allows I like to explore the prettier parts of the country. This was taken last summer in Alaska. Not only a heck of a lot more scenic than Texas, but home to some phenomenal brewing too.
