How much do you pay for it normally? I can usually get a 4 pack for under $10 and I thought that was a pretty good deal compared to some of the other stouts out there....

I know I wish it wasn't so expensive!

Damn I love this beer. I was able to boost my supply of it last night because the local liquor store has a big sale going on including this for $6.50 per 4-pack. That's like stealing.

I do this fairly often and have never had a problem. I just opened a yahoo account that I use solely for sending from my phone.

I'd like to see this set up you have. What magazine did you find it in? I've seen people convert large rolling trash cans into kegerators I heard of using small CO2 canisters like paintball guns use. And the regulators, that I know of, I have listed…

Here's a link to the tale of our oatmeal raisin cookie beer. Not a stout, but easily adapted...

ey David,
Here is my recipe for my chocolate oatmeal stout. It's a partial mash recipe but you could probably up the 2-row to 9 lb and eliminate the extract and get aprox. the same gravity. As to the raisins, I've never used them but I might either add them in the last few minutes of the boil to make sure and kill any yeast on the skins or cook them in some water over heat until you have a syrup and then add that. Rob DeNunzio did that in our first group brew the "Indoctrinator", you can read how he did that if you look back in the Indoctrinator threads in the forum. Let me know if you have any questions.

What style brewer are you David, extract, partial-mash, or all-grain? I've never brewed a raisin oatmeal stout but I have brewed a pretty good chocolate oatmeal stout that could be pretty easily adapted.
