Profile Information

Favorite beer style(s) of the moment:
Alaskan Winter Ale, Summer Solstice, Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Lagunitas Censored (Rich Copper Ale)
Who am I?:
I am a distiller for Essential Spirits Alambic Distilleries in Mountain View, CA. While i make my living producing award winning rums, gins, vodkas and fruit brandies, living in california, the epicenter of craft brewing, i am like a kid in a candy store. I have hundreds of different beers to choose from, and while i certainly have my favorites, i try to keep an open mind, and sample new beers every week.

Works for me my fellow beer brotha! ;) I actually grew up in the Bay Area (lived there for 22+ years). Graduated from San Jose State many moons ago, and my wife's mom lives on the Napa side of Santa Rosa, so we visit frequently. There are some great, great breweries in Cali.

Welcome to the Aleuminati, Dave. We love the work that you do, even if the strongest we usually taste is about 21% ABV. ;)

Glad to have you with us here at the Aleuminati, Dave. But I'll have to argue with your "epicenter of craft brewing" comment. Colorado ain't called the "Napa Valley of the Beer World" for nuthin' my friend. You may have hundreds of beers to choose from, but we have hundreds of breweries to choose from... with thousands of different beers. ;) Cheers!
