Yep, you read correctly. I've been a Packers fan since I was little ... no particular connection to the team, except that I decided at about 8 that I liked their uniform colors ... I've followed them since. This year, because the Packers fell to the Giants, I have "adopted" the Giants as my pick (a good move, as it turns out!) because of #27, Brandon Jacobs - a SIU Saluki alum.

Looking forward to your thoughts on the idea later ...

I don't really have "one" favorite, preferring to choose the right style for my mood, the weather, my meal, or what have you. I suppose I'm somewhat partial to Porters because that's my son's name. But I do have a soft spot for barleywine, sour beers, saisons, biere de gardes and IPAs.
Who am I?:
Hi, I'm Jay. I've been writing about beer for over 15 years and been involved in the beer industry almost as long. I've been a homebrewer, enthusiast, author, beer buyer, commercial contract brewer, marketing manager, beer judge and the GM of a national beer magazine, before becoming a freelance beer writer a little over a year ago. I also write about the beer industry at my website, the Brookston Beer Bulletin.
