Just enjoyed 22 ounces of Ninkasi's Oatis Oatmeal Stout tonight, which paired beautifully with my own homemade burgers and fries! It also, believe it or not, it tasted amazing with the sugar cookie I had after dinner!Each time I eat, I strive hard to pair a beer that I have on hand to the food I'm about to enjoy, but I especially love it when I get surprised with either an amazing pairing with a sweet food item or a new taste altogether that is generated. Hello, fellow Beer Aleuminati! I just read about this site in the inaugural issue of Beer Connoisseur (which I am now a subscriber), and thought I'd stop by. I live out west in Boise, Idaho, and have been a beer enthusiast for 5+ years, but have just now been getting into all the online resources and forums.
