Except for Southern Tier, our region's breweries seem to fly under the radar. Which ones are your favorites? I gotta go with Rohrbach, Rooster Fish and Flying Bison.

No question ST is productive, growing, and makes some fantastic beers. Tried the Cherry Saison or the Creme Brulee stout yet?

If we're going to be as broad with WNY as Syracuse, can we include Ommegang- because they get plenty of positive press, rightly.

I've really liked the Rooster Fish I've had, only their IPA.

Have you tried Butternuts? They can their beers, and it's pretty good stuff. I like their Heffe.

OF course, Flying Bison gets props around here!

I am a great fan of Flying Bison, having known some of the staff for a few years make stopping by for a quick chat or to see what coming up very easy. Tim and the guys are great.

I truly did not like much from Butternuts. The IPA and Pale Ale were ok. Stout and Weisse were ummm..... not so hot. www.thefoaminghead.com/butternuts_beer_ale.html
