Comment by Josh Humbert on March 14, 2012 at 5:12pm Reuben - I just finished drinking my first batch and after I bottled it I let it sit as well. When I first bottled, it was a little cloudy and then after a few days it was clear with a layer of white powder looking sediment at the bottom of the bottle. As for the half recipe question I originally had the Mr Beer kit and was looking into smaller batches and a lot of what I was told was to just use half the ingredients to make a half batch.
