[Shawn, the Beer Philosopher]

I started this group, quite simply, because I have noticed a rather large number of Aleuminati members who have some connection to the Church ... and to beer. Some are Pastors, some Priests, others are lay ministers or simply believers who enjoy a good brew. Regardless of status, beer's history has been closely linked with the Church for a long, long time.

That leaves us plenty to talk about, no?

I thought it might be fun to utilize this group for discussions on things spiritual insofar as they relate in some fashion to beer. Furthermore, I wanted to provide a high-traffic outlet for those of you who are writers / bloggers who might be writing on topics like beer & Christianity. Post your article links here.

While healthy dialogue and debate are welcome here (including dissenting opinions), offensive and/or inflamatory posts will be removed. Repeated offenses will result in permanent removal from the group. Let's keep it civil and fun, okay?
