The Aleuminati-the not so secret society of better beer drinkers

The only thing that's mysterious is why people would drink cheap, fizzy beer.

I love Pranqster ... I used to drink this one regularly at a local cafe/bar I frequented.

Just heard about a Anglo-Belgian collaborative brew, Twickenham Struise Porter, brewed by Struise's Urbain Coutteau and Twickenham's Tom Madeiros a 5% Porter using amber and black malts and flaked oats it's a tremendously dark and malty beer with a delicious chocolate and coffee taste. Half will be casked for pubs and half will be bottled. Look out for the bottles UK peeps its as near to Black Albert as we are likely to get without a trip to Belgium. Dark roasty and with a hint of Belgium? sounds reet oop me street as we say here.

We just had a great Belgian from Brau Brothers in Minnesota. It's a Belgian Pale Ale called Frame Straightener. Great stuff.

About the group icon: It's the logo for an actual Belgian beer bar in Bruges called 't Brugs Beertje. And yes, I've already considered making a baby t out of it for my daughter... and for myself...
