Hey all. Great group! Hopefully we can get some good recipes up here. I just cooked a great Oktoberfest meal with ratatouille and Spaten Oktoberfest. Spaten's not my favorite of the German beers, but it worked really well with this dish.

Here's the recipe. I have pictures on my blog. I'm sure we can get a good pic for the logo. Any thoughts on what might work well? I have few photos. Starting to take some more. Next on my list of recipes and photos is PIZZA!

One-Pot Ratatouille

1 medium eggplant, cut into 3/4 inch cubes

1 large zucchini, cut into 3/4 inch cubes

3/4 large yellow onion, roughly cut

1 large red pepper, cut into 3/4 inch slices

1 large yellow pepper, cut into 3/4 inch slices

3-4 whole peeled tomatoes

2 cloves of garlic, minced

3/4 cup water

1/4 cup olive oil

Pour water, olive oil and garlic into large skillet or stock pot and bring to a boil. Sprinkle lightly with salt. Add eggplant, zucchini, onion, peppers, and tomatoes. When adding tomatoes, break apart gently and allow the juice to soak into the mix. Bring pot to a boil, then lower the heat, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring until vegetables have browned and water has evaporated. Salt and pepper to taste. I often serve with fresh bread and cheese, usually a creamy cow’s milk, but many cheeses are a wonderful complement.

Does any one have a picture of a good plate of food for a better logo? I looked on the net but didn't want to deal with possible copyright issues.
