The Aleuminati-the not so secret society of better beer drinkers

The only thing that's mysterious is why people would drink cheap, fizzy beer.

Howdy locals,

According to various sources - not to mention Vinny himself - now's the time to start scouring your local finer beer merchants for bottles of Pliny and Blind Pig, guaranteeing you more than just a little jealousy from our non-Bay Area brethren. If you find some in your travels, post back here for the rest of us so we don't waste too much of that $5/gal gas in our hunts...

I agree, so I'm gonna stop at the liquor store on the drive home and pick up as many different varieties of Dogfish Head that I can find!!! That oughta learn those californians not to hoard their beer!

HA, take that california!!!

(i'm willing to trade...)

Yes! He mentions shipments out to Denver in August. The long wait is nearly over.

you BASTARD!!!

It's not fair WAAAAAAHHHHH

Don't worry, Virg, you've still got the upperish hand. Last time I checked, even in the pastoral idyll that is Fairfield, CA, you can only get the same three offerings as the rest of CA. Maybe we could strike a deal with the distributors to return all the cases of Palo we have sitting around gathering dust in stores for some other options...

That is true Rob. However I will take 3 Dogfish selections plus Pliny/Blind Pig etc.... versus more Dogfish selections and NO Pliny/Blind Pig. Know what I mean? Now , if I only I could find Aventinus on tap somewhere around here!

Aventinus is on tap at Toronado... (Not really "around here" in terms of Fairfield, I guess...)

Thats close enough Rob, thanks. Also, I am just playing around Virgil. I wish we could have local access to ALL the great beers out there.
