Welcoming New Members from the Aleuminati Facebook Chapter!

For those who are already a member in good standing (I don't think we have any in bad standing) of the Aleuminati, you may not be aware that we have a sizeable "chapter" on the social networking giant, Facebook.

Almost 300, in fact ...

If you're a Facebook user and you'd like to join us over there as well, please feel free to do so right here.

As for our Facebook brethren (and sisteren ;) we welcome you to the mothership; the headquarters. I think you'll find you won't be able to fathom what you did without us pretty quickly! That, or you'll just wonder when you'll have time to juggle all of your social networking profiles now that you've just added another. None the less, we think the Aleuminati offers something truly unique, especially for the hardcore beer lover. We have more photos, videos, events and other useful information than almost any other beer-centric site on the internet.

We realize we're not the only game in town, and we're not trying to be. The Aleuminati exists to be your beer-specific social network and will only ever be as good as you want it to be. Now that you're a member, we encourage you to complete your profile, upload some great beer photos or videos, and get involved in a discussion or five on the forums. Before long you'll become a regular!

That's when you get the speech about "once you've become a member, you'll always (ALEways?) be a member!" It's that whole [not so] secret society thing, you understand.

Anyway, if you're a new member here and come to us from our Facebook chapter, leave a reply below and let us know what you think of our humble [not so] secret home base! We'll select a few new members randomly over the next several weeks to receive a little something special from the shoppe for dropping a line. By joining us, you're helping to ensure that we can continue to offer a very special place on the web for those with our "special" abilities and talents ... namely the ability to identify good beer wherever it may be found and the talent to tell the world about it with a certain wit and flair!
