The Aleuminati-the not so secret society of better beer drinkers

The only thing that's mysterious is why people would drink cheap, fizzy beer.

Post your post-brew follow ups here. Tasting notes, highlights, lowlights or other ruminations on your experience brewing our 2nd collaborative brew! The Inoculator!

Hey! Nobody posted a followup yet :(

Not to be too self-congratulatory - but my Innoculator made it through to the second round of NHC. So clearly you guys came up with a good recipe!

I thought it finished a little to sweet, but it was also a little under attenuated. The keg is gone already though, so it must have been pretty good. Will definitely brew again!

Congrats on going to the second round with the Inoculator! Not much of a follow-up to post on my end as our keg barely made its way halfway through our annual Easter picnic before kicking (besides a handful of 22s we've got set aside). I felt that ours, too, came out a little sweet, but blame our balance issue less on attenuation than on the fact that our hops were a little old and likely degraded. We also ended up dry-hopping the keg to great success. By all accounts, it was the perfect pairing to a sunny day of grilling. Here's the only documented proof I have:

Which brings us to the next step. What's number three going to be? Time to start that thread going, too...

Sorry I haven't posted about mine yet. Mine is tasting pretty good with a nice biscuity touch. My one problem has been that my bottles have had some gushing problems. It tastes great , no off flavors I can pick out so I'm not sure if I have a bug or maybe as others have thought about theirs it was under-attenuated and I'm just seeing fermentation finishing in the bottles. Makes me a little fearful of shipping.

I just thought I'd chime in. After dealing with finals, going on vacation, and starting summer school, I finally bottled this. It spent 2 weeks in primary and 3 1/2 months in secondary. It's only been in bottles for a few days so I haven't tasted it yet, but as you can imagine, it was brilliantly clear coming out of the carboy. I'll post an update when I try it in a couple weeks.
