The Aleuminati-the not so secret society of better beer drinkers

The only thing that's mysterious is why people would drink cheap, fizzy beer.

SInce it seems we have settled on a recipe it's time to discuss the label. For those new to the game, for the Indoctrinator the Beer philosopher put together a wonderful label for us all to print out at home and use on our bottles. To check it out for yourself check the Indoctrinator label thread as well as multiple photos posted here on the Aleuminati.

The question now is how should the new label look? Something similar to what TBP has already done or completely different?

For me, an earlier mentioned idea of clandestine UK Aleuminati agents sounded great although working in the inoculator in some fashion would be cool. Defininitely keep the information on the side about the Aleuminati as well as the area for personalizing.

For the "Indoctrinator" I thought it would be clever to play up the pseudo-gothic, dark imagery since we included "The Aleuminati" prominently across the top of the label's focal point. I'm not convinced that the "Inoculator" will have that same vibe ... or even should.

I'm certainly not dead set on basically duplicating the Indoctrinator label for this next batch, but I know there is something to be said for continuity too (besides the fact it kind of looks cool to have a series of bottles that relate to one another).

I love creating the labels, so if we wanna go an entirely different route, have at it! Whatever the consensus ends up being, I'll be happy to create it.

Let the creativity begin ...!

I'm not much of a graphics artist (at all) but here is something I came up with that potentially someone with much more skill (or any skill) than I can play with.

Nice. Great stuff everyone. I like the mad scientist idea as well, I just wish there was a medieval-gothic mad scientist.

And what's the source for Inoculator2? Those guys part Illuminati?

Reply to This

No they are not part of the Aleuminati, just a cool old photo I found on the internet.

Okay, thought it might be time to revisit this thread since many of you have already brewed the Inoculator and have it sitting in primary or secondary right now. For those that are indeed bottling their brew, a label is going to be forthcoming.

My apologies for no getting a design out there yet, but i have to confess I'm still not quite sure which way to go with it. Any more design ideas floating around out there? If not, I'll just make an executive decision ... ;)

Unless we have some new ideas, I'll endeavor to have something completed within a week or so and post the file here for download and individula use.

Sound good?
