The Aleuminati-the not so secret society of better beer drinkers

The only thing that's mysterious is why people would drink cheap, fizzy beer.

With Oktoberfest fast approaching I was wondering what peoples plans are?? Anyone going to Germany? Any local Festivals? Anyone brew any special beers? I will be having my 2nd Annual Robtoberfest(date to be determined) complete with German Food, Beer, and Music! Prosit!

P.S. If you like German Beers like I do.....join my group dedicated to just that! Also, I am sick of having the smallest group here!!! :

We're planning a "little Oktoberfest"celebration here at Kindling Spirits (aretailer I work with) for the 2nd of October. Doing a couple of choice half kegs and maybe a few bottles. The Oktoberfest beers are rollin' in! We just got in Ayinger and we'll be featuring Bell's new Oktoberfest at our Bell's Beer Dinner on Sept. 11th. Can't wait!

We have a huge Oktoberfest party in my neighborhood.

Usually it's 200-300 people. I make as many kegs of beer as I can for the party. Right now I've got 2 kegs of a strong white ale, 1 keg of Märzen, and 1 keg of Munich helles. I'm a bit behind, because I usually bring 8-10 kegs of beer. I'll be making another 3 this weekend.
