The Aleuminati-the not so secret society of better beer drinkers

The only thing that's mysterious is why people would drink cheap, fizzy beer.

A friend of mine is going to San Antonio for a few days starting tomorrow. What great local or available local San Antonio beers should I recommend he bring back to Florida? Ones I can't get here in Total Wine? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

There are a couple good local Texas breweries. One of which is in San Antonio (No its not Pabst, I said Good, right!) .
Here are my favorite Texas Beer's

#1 Rahr Brewery, Buffalo Butt (Fort Worth, TX) Limited availability, but worth it if you can find it.
#2 Pete's Brewing Company, Wicked Ale (San Antonio, TX)
#3 Real Ale Brewing, Full Moon Pale Rye Ale, and Firemans #4 (Blanco, TX)
#4 Southern Star Brewing, Pine Belt pale (Conroe TX) (Hope you don't mind can's, this one is in a 12oz can only)

Let me know what you think of them.

Cheers
Preston

Hey. Thanks a lot. I actually have a few from New Belgium coming back this morning that I haven't had and are not available in Florida. However, the same friend will be returning to San Antonio in a few months, so I am saving this list in my TO DO list. Thanks again.
