The Aleuminati-the not so secret society of better beer drinkers

The only thing that's mysterious is why people would drink cheap, fizzy beer.

No, seriously, what is it going to be? Thoughts? Ideas?

Mine should be about ready. It's been keg conditioning for about 2 weeks now.

Trying to come up with some clever system to serve it cask style. Leaning towards some sort of counter top setup with a cooling loop and gravity pour. The kegerator is set too cold to try a hand pump setup from there.

Can you drink it fast enough before it goes bad or will you still CO2 dispense to prevent oxidation?

I'll probably have some sort of low pressure co2 to keep it from getting oxidized too quickly. There's a pretty good description here.

Just have to work out how to keep it the right temperature. I don't really want to have 2 refrigerators just for serving.

I might be able to work something out with a brew belt, and second temp controller to keep it 10 degrees or so warmer than the rest of the kegs. Then one of those little rocket hand pumps. Like this.

I have a 6er bottled that needs labels. I could/should bottle more. Awaiting Aleuminati coded directive to deploy.

Mine is in the secondary, and should be kegged this week for conditioning. Batch #3? Sounds good, I'm in.

It's official. I will be shipping one bottle to San Diego for the 1st round of NHC.

Sending off a total of 5 entries.

I'm dry hopping this tonight and bottling it this weekend. How is everyone's tasting?

Resurrecting a dead post.

Useless Brewing Inoculator Batch #2 is ready to ship. Who wants some? I had a glass last night and I'm my worst critic, so I would rather have your opinion.

Hmmm ... an invitation like that might just open a floodgate of volunteers. Would love to try it, but I didn't participate in batch #2, so I'd have to reciprocate with something else. Fortunately, I have a decent amount of "else."
