Aleuminati Advances!

I'm extremely excited to announce that there are several new enhancements to the Aleuminati you might have already noticed on the site. If not, you will next time you log-in!
First of all, one of the features we're most proud of has gotten even better - our Photos section. Specifically, our photo widget. You'll notice that the controls are more integrated now and they "slide away" when not in use, creating a slicker, more streamlined user experience. Additionally, the controls themselves have improved as well. Now the unrivaled collection of beer-related photos you find on the Aleuminati are even easier to share with others within our community or elsewhere, like Facebook!

Many of the improvements I just mentioned regarding our Photo widget are also integrated into another awesome section we really ought to talk about more than we do, namely our Videos! The same integrated controls are now there as well. This makes watching our terrific video collection even easier and more fun. Member John LeMasney's "Beer Pourn" looks better than ever!

In similar fashion, our Music Player (found on the right sidebar of the homepage) has received a facelift as well. Note that the new control panel matches the other widgets, making it quicker and easier to share your favorite beer music! Sweet, huh?

Okay, finally ... the enhancement I'm most excited about! If you're a chatter, you might be asking yourself where in the world our chat window went? Don't worry, we haven't been infiltrated by neo-prohibitionists bent on thwarting our efforts to win over the world for better beer! The chat functionality has not been lost ... it's bigger, better and much easier to use. Take a look at the bottom of your browser window and you'll see our shiny new chat tool ... it spans the length of your browser window. See it?

You can play around with the new chat feature and find out about all the bells and whistles yourself, so I won't elaborate here too much. In fact, I'll just highlight two BIG improvement ... one, AUDIO NOTIFICATIONS! Now you can hear when other Aleuminati members are online and available to chat and when you're being "chatted at." Also, click on the little diagonal arrow icon and the chat window "pops out" in its own window, allowing you to keep a chat going no matter where you browse on the Aleuminati ... or elsewhere!

Hope you enjoy the upgrades and, as always, please let me know if you see issues or if you can think of other improvements we might make to the site. The Aleuminati is becoming one of the biggest, and best, beer-related websites on the net! Our success is because of YOU, our members! Let your voices be heard! ... or at the very least, let your audio notifications be heard! Either way ...
