2009 Beer Drinker of the Year

Our first trip for 2009 is already planned... We are heading out to Denver again this year for the Beer Drinker of the Year contest at the the Wynkoop.

We will be there with fellow Aleuminators Matt and Michelle Venzke, Eli and Fran [Eli-please chime in if I am incorrect on this].

I highly recommend it to anyone who has never been... it is a very entertaining afternoon of beer drinking and fun. The date is February 21.

Yup... we'll be there! In fact the whole Beer Tap TV crew will be there as we are OFFICIALLY filming the bad boy and streaming it (hopefully) live to the Internet.

We'll be filming for an episode of beergeek.TV but Beer Drinker will most likely be part a broader episode about our trip.

We will not be streaming live for this event, but Eli is right, we are the official media sponsor of the event and will be there taping the ceremony, interviewing the winner as well as some other folks. It will be available on Beer Tap TV shortly after that.

Funny thing is Chris, I saw you at the GABF. I was pouring beers at the Allentown/Bethlehem Brew Works booth and tried to get your attention but the crowd and beers swept you away. I've enjoyed seeing you and your wife in the videos. I envy your ability to travel the globe. Hope to meet you sometime soon.

Sorry I missed you at GABF... Things were kinda crazy.

I am glad you enjoy the videos. When we decided to do video a year and a half ago, we were unsure whether people would be interested in watching our travels. It is always nice to get good feedback.
