The Aleuminati-the not so secret society of better beer drinkers

The only thing that's mysterious is why people would drink cheap, fizzy beer.

OK, so we all love craft beers and home brew, but lets be honest you still drink some of the non-craft beers. You've had a few Corona's in the summer heat, or you've settled for a Bass... Maybe you had too many Red Stripes or Sols on your last cruise, of maybe, just maybe, you held your nose and tried a Bud Lime... (BLECH!)

So, what's your guilty pleasure?

When I'm with my buddies at a softball game, we will down CMB Light all day. Mainly because of the following:
1) Bottles aren't allowed
2) We split up who buys beer every week, so going to the store to buy 30 beers is easier and cheaper to do with CMB.

I found a case of Natural Light (cans) on the side of the road in my subdivision and drank it over the summer while cutting grass and lived to tell about it. Does that make me a bad person? lol

I really never got into Corona, but have had some Red Stripe, Sol, Bud Ale & other guilty pleasures.

For me, I have always loved European beers like Bass, Grolsch, Spaten, Paulaner, etc. and drink them all the time. I enjoy them just as much as any American Craft Beer and I always will.

When I was losing weight, natty light was the way to go. It couldn't possibly be any cheaper, and it was a nice way to still have a taste of something approaching beer. Sadly, it looks like I'll be looking for cheaper choices again soon, since my beer budget is about as tight as it could possibly be. However, I think I'll choose north of Natty Light, like maybe Budweiser Ale.

An old timey local bar just down the street has PBR on tap for $3.50 a pitcher. It's hard to turn down, and quite frankly more enjoyable than Bud, Miller or Coors. They typically have a Sweetwater, Redhook and Sierra available but they go for $5 a bottle.
ahh, PBR, so cheap, so delicious, good times!
