The Aleuminati-the not so secret society of better beer drinkers

The only thing that's mysterious is why people would drink cheap, fizzy beer.

I got picked in the lotto. Any other Aluminatis going to be there?

Hey Wilson! My lovely wife, another fwllow central PA beer geek and I are headed to Madison for the Great Taste. we will also be meeting freinds from NYC, Alabama and a native Wisconsiner (from Appleton).

I am really looking forward to the event! Maybe we can make plans to meet up?

That sounds great. Perhaps we can sort things out as plans develop and the time draws nearer.

I used to travel to Madison for business fairly frequently ... alas, I won't be up there during the Great Taste festivities. I smell yet another Aleuminati gathering brewing! What will this be, the third, forth ...

Very cool.

My new wife and I are very excited to attend our first Great Taste of the Midwest. Looking forward to seeing other Aleuminati-ists there!

So, who went? Any new favorites? Any surprises?

Hadda blast, my biggest surprise and possibly favorite from the day would be Dragonmead Ring of fire. I wouldn't expect a pepper beer to be my favorite on the day, but it stood out more than anything else. There wasn't anything that was horrible. (or at least i stayed away from what i thought would be)

My wife and I both liked Viking's Hot Chocolate over the Ring of Fire. Flossmoor's Organic Woody and Sarge stood out. Lotsa great stuff there. But that's where to begin...

It would be great if there were any good beer festivals in Missouri or KS anyone know of any? Denver even?

Colby,
There are a few festivals coming up in both Kansas and Missouri.
Check out the list on our Festivals page...
