Avery's Barrel-Aged beers are some of the best in the business; Brabant was the stellar first release, a Brettanomyces beer aged in Zinfandel barrels, and Sui Generis the second, brewed with Brettanomyces, lactobacillus, pediococcus as follows: 39% aged in cabernet barrels, 35% aged in chardonnay barrels, 13% in port barrels, 13% in bourbon barrels.
Basically, they know what they're doing when it comes to one of the most exotic beer types out there, so if they're getting folks together to celebrate sour ales, it will not be an event to miss...
